Is it a one-time fee of $4.99 or an annual rate?

At Library Leveler, we are committed to delivering the best user experience to our members. Our aggressive agile development process assures frequent updates, amazing support and the latest features driven by our users all year round.

The one-time fee of $4.99 removes all the barriers of high upfront cost of software, or annual per user charges and upgrade fees. As a mobile app each user has the flexibility to scan varying grade levels from any device, anytime, anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet. We are providing around the clock services to assure the competitive edge is in your favor year after year. We will be adding in-app upgrades at a later date for added features as and when they become available based on user feedback.

What are the differences between your app and all others?

Our Library Leveler App is tailored to meet the different needs of our specific target users. Library Leveler is tailored to meet the needs of an educator regardless of the size or funding of the school district. Our users will now have the ability to scan and Level School books much faster and spend more quality time with the students rather than having to stay on after school to log into multiple databases. it provides the flexibility to scan books on the go and can be done during car rides or even rides on the bus to and from school.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently only accept APP market purchases at this time. Simply go to the App Market pay & download your app follow the instructions and you should be ready to start scanning and leveling books.

I bought your app and have now changed my mind. How do i get a refund?

Kindly email us with a refund request clearly stating your reasons/issues. We process refunds on a case by case basis.

Do I need to enter my Credit Card information to buy your App?

Absolutely not! No billing information of any kind is required to purchase Library Leveler. That is on purpose. Simply use your iTunes account or Google Play account and they will handle all forms of payment.

Do you have a trial period and what all can I do?

NO we Do NOT. We have kept this really simple. Once you purchase/download and install the app we unlock all the features. You will be able to experience all that Library Leveler has to offer. Plus, we are here to help. As a customer you can contact support with any questions, comments and/or suggests feature you like to see in future releases of Library Leveler.

Once you purchase and install Library Leveler, simply follow the required installation instructions for the companion Bar code Scanner app and you should be all set.

What happens to my app purchase if need space on my device and have to un-install it?

Once you purchase and install the app. It is yours to install/un-install and use on your mobile device. it will always be available to you. you can download it again at a later date for no extra charge from the market. It’s still alive and waiting on you.

Are there any specials or discounts?

We strive to keep Library Leveler very affordable for all educators/users. At $4.99 we strongly believe the pricing is not only low but fair. Therefore, we are currently not any offering specials or discounts.

How long does it take after I purchase/download to have access to Library Leveler?

Immediately!

Can i share the app experience with my friends and coworkers?

We expect your friends and co-workers to be suprised when they see you scanning and leveling your books in our efficient manner. while we encourage users to show/demonstrate the ease of using our app, Each app purchase is a single device authorization and each user/device will require a separate license.

I have two separate devices, do I need two separate purchases?

No. Each license/download is per account. if you have a google play or itunes account you are allowed to install it on all devices authorized with that account. Google/itunes track that separately and will bill you accordingly.

Do I need any special software to use Library Leveler?

Absolutely not! Library Leveler is all about accessibility from anywhere, at anytime, with any carrier/device. You will however need a device that is connected to the internet to access our database servers.

I have a pay-as you Go phone plan can i use Library Leveler?

Yes you can, but will need either an itunes or Google Play account and internet access to download, install and use Library Leveler.

Why do i need a companion Scanner app to run library leveler?

Barcode scanning in an added option. You can still enter the ISBN or Title with your keypad. In an effort to keep development costs and app pricing low & affordable, and device/platform support extensive, we resorted to using existing proven FREE app market barcode scanner apps. This keeps overhead/pricing low and allows for barcode reader updates separately and on-the-go.

How do I set-up my organization with accounts?

Currently we do not offer that option. each user will have to purchase separate apps to each device and be re-imbursed individually by the organization

How do I print Book scan Results?

Currently saving & printing Screen shots [Press the HOME & Power Button at the same time] is the simplest option Given the myriad of devices and platforms the app supports, it will be next to impossible to add print features without causing problems for other users

Can I save book results?

Currently, saving screen shots of the Results would be the simplest/best option.[Hold down both HOME + POWER buttons] it saves a picture that can be printed, texted or emailed to a friend or parent.

Where can I download the mobile apps?

Library Leveler mobile apps can be found in your Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Amazon AppStore, Barnes & Noble Nook App Store. There are several app resellers that promote our apps but you will ultimately be directed back to google and itunes.

Is there a limit on Daily book scans?

None. The only limitation is internet traffic to our servers and phone 3G/4G connectivity. WIFI is the most ideal connection method.

I cannot seem to scan a barcode. What am i doing wrong & what should I do?

Apple iOS - The scan Option was disabled per Apple's Guidelines of requiring every app to be self contained and not rely on other apps for other activiities. We are currently in the process of developing our own scanner app to integrate into future updates of Library Leveler. For the time being, Keyboard or Voice input is all that is offered on the iOS platform

ANDROID - Please verify that you have the companion barcode app installed then initiate the barcode scan from WITHIN Library Leveler. If you scan directly from the Companion scanner app instead of through Library leveler it will not work.

I have the companion app installed but still can not scan a barcode. What am i doing wrong & what should I do?

Apple iOS - The scan Option was disabled per Apple's Guidelines of requiring every app to be self contained and not rely on other apps for other activiities. We are currently in the process of developing our own scanner app to integrate into future updates of Library Leveler. For the time being, Keyboard or Voice input is all that is offered on the iOS platform

ANDROID - If the scanner app works on it's own and library leveler works by typing the title or ISBN then Please verify that the barcode scanner is the default app for scanning. Often times certain phone browsers HTC for example will intercept/block requests to other apps. check your Device Browser's defaults settings, pop-up blocker settings & clear the browser cache

What is the purpose of the "find in library" option/Feature within the Apple Version?

The APPLE "FIND IN LIBRARY" option is intended to allow users to find ANY book in nearby public libraries. It DOES NOT provide book reading levels. In order to get book reading levels users need to use the Text/Voice Search option.

Why does it return "Book Does Not exist in our database"?

Try a search by title instead. Some publishers issue different ISBN's for the same book during a RE-PRINT. Our Database consists of over 250,000 books. In Reality, Not every book in YOUR library will exist in OUR database. We are constantly adding books to our database and leveling them in real-time. Please be patient with us at this point in time. it only gets better from this point.

when i scan a bar code i get a wrong result?

Manually TYPE OR VOICE INPUT the Title or ISBN# without dashes in the searchbox. Library Leveler Does not support UPC barcodes and some children's boxed sets. Any barcode with UPC written next to it is not a valid ISBN barcode. Make sure that you are scanning the ISBN and not the UPC of the book. The ISBN of 13 digits has been used since 1/1/2007 and will begin with the numbers "978". The ISBN of 10 alphanumeric characters will exist on books published before 1/1/2007.

Sometimes the book picture does not match the book i just scanned?

There are several re-prints of each book so depending on the edition you are scanning the picture might be different. Always check the title to confirm it is the right book, Title, author and publisher. if it is indeed the wrong book, kindly search by title instead.

Some or all my book results show up as "Not Available?

The particular book is in our database but leveled results are not available yet. We are currently in the process of adding books to our database and leveling them in real-time. Please be patient with us at this point in time. We are constantly adding books to our database.

My scanner has a hard time reading the barcodes?

Most phone cameras are sensitive to glare. Disable your flash or simply hold the book vertically to avoid glare from over-head lighting.

My device camera just died can i still use Library Leveler?

Yes you can.

We purposely provided a text field to input the Title or ISBN numbers just in case you did not have a camera available or have bad lighting conditions.

I don't feel like typing the Book title or ISBN# can i use voice commands?

Yes you can. But your device must be voice capable and have a voice-command option when your keyboard pops-up on your screen.

When i scan a UPC Barcode it brings up the wrong book?

Yes that is expected. Manually enter the book TITLE. UPC barcodes are publisher specific and have no relation to ISBN#'s every so often a UPC barcode number coincides with an existing ISBN# and yields incorrect results

Some users have reported having better luck when the UPC and the ISBN exist together, by covering up the UPC so the scanner won't identify it. Our suggestion is to simply type the TITLE or ISBN# without dashes into the search field
